The Nerdy Friend

The nerdy friend every new business deserves.

Getting online shouldn't cost more than your first month of rent. So for brand-new and just-getting-started businesses, I do something different — real advice, a real website, and someone who actually answers the phone. All capped at $250.

Everything, capped at $250
The heart of it

Why this exists.

Most small businesses don't fail for lack of hustle. They fail because nobody in their corner knows the online side — and the people who do usually cost more than a brand-new business can spend. I've been that nerdy friend for enough people to know how much it changes things. So I'm doing it on purpose now, for the folks who need it most.

What you get

Everything you need to actually get going.

Four real things — not a vague package. All of it, capped at $250.

A real sit-down

An hour or two, just us — your marketing, getting found online, and the moves that actually matter for a business like yours.

A complete website

Hand-built, fast, looks right on phone and desktop, SEO done properly. Not huge — but genuinely good.

Your Google Business Profile, set up right

The free tool most new businesses skip or get wrong. We set it up so locals can actually find you.

Hosting you control, free

I'll show you how to host it yourself at no cost for as long as you're small.

The promise

Once you're approved, your price never goes over $250. Whatever we build, however long we talk — $250 is the ceiling, full stop.

Payment's due after you're approved and before we start, and that's the last surprise you'll ever get from me.

Who it's for

Is this you?

This is for you if

  • you started (or registered) in roughly the last six months
  • you're just getting off the ground and money's tight
  • you want to do this right but can't swing agency prices yet

It's probably not the fit if

  • you've been established for years with a budget for it — I'd still love to help, just through my regular services
  • you're after a sprawling enterprise site
Not sure you qualify? Apply anyway. I read every one myself, and there's room for a judgment call — that's kind of the whole point.
